Eid Al-Adha Ala Student

Yesterday (Oct 15th) Muslim in the worldwide celebrated Eid Al-Adha. Eid Al-Adha is a Islamic Festival to honour the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son (Ismail) as an act submission to God command.

The born of Ismail has been waited for a long time. When Ismail growns up to teenager,  Ibrahim had dream that he see himself slaughter Ismail. He guess that is a sign from God to sacrifice Ismail. And then, he ask Ismail about his dream. Ismail agree that if he sacrificed. 

Ibrahim prepare to slaughter his son. Before the knife touch Ismail's neck. The God change Ismail with lamb. So Ibrahim doesn't need anymore to sacrifice Ismail. He only sacrifice the lamb. 

Nowaday, as symbol of Ibrahim and Ismail's sacrifice, Muslim around the world celebrate Eid Al-Adha with sacrifice domestic animal, such as:sheep, cow, buffalo, goat, and camel. We call them as qurban. Muslim that sacrifice qurban is the people who have good financial capability. The meat from qurban is divided into three parts. The family retains one third of the share; another third is given to relatives, friends and neighbors; and the other third is given to the poor and needy.

in the morning, we pray that we called "Sholat Eid Al-Adha" in the mosque or field or parking area

The qurban has been laid down. And then, I'm pretty sure you don't want to see slaughtering processing, because that is very bloody 

other qurban, lamb and sheep. They were dead

Now is time for dinner. We got part of qurban, 3 pack of beef. So we cook them at our boarding house :)

we prepare the cooking ingredients, such as cooking oil, instant seasoning, salt, mung bean sprout, and of course the beef. We want to cook rawon or spicy beef in black nut soup

the limitation of equipment force us to more creative. We use medical scissor to cut the beef :P

because we don't have stove, we use rice cooker to cook everything. Yeah, limitation make people be more creative :P

We use instant chili sauce. yeah, instant again :P
